Caregiver Support was designed to offer the same type of help that privately licensed caregivers already receive. These new supports are available to all state‑licensed caregivers who care for children or youth placed by DCYF, including relatives and kin.
Services are provided by community-based agencies based on where the caregiver lives. Once a child or youth is placed in a home, your Caregiver Support Services provider will reach out to you directly. Caregiver Supports are connected to the child or youth placed in your home.
